Just notice the picinic is already planned for August 23rd don’t think I can make that date preparing for my daughter to return to College in Virginia, but still in favor of a dance at the old gym at BHS.

Hello Ladies,

I am also excited with high anticipation to see my classmates again, I like Lynette have attended every class reunion and have enjoyed reconnecting with old friends. I’m in favor of all the suggestions above, Marty that’s a great idea hopefully we can promote this at the reunion, and doing something that include our families. “Yes we Can, because God says we can”! Looking forward to seeing each of you in August.

Wow! I am so excited I have been gone from the Bay Area for a long time now and lost touch, but last year my sister saw Vernice Johnson and we have been talking since then on the regular. If God is willing I will be there I can’t wait to see all the faces I grew up with. Marty that is a great idea a dance in the ole gym. God Bless see you all in August.

It is such a beautiful thing to know that my classmates are in good health and spirits. I will do my best to join everybody and remember the good ole days at BHS. I would love to see all the classes come together and have a Huge dance in the ole gym, that would be totally awesome to be back on campus with friends and teachers…Let’s give that a thought……May father god continue to bless all of us.

A party for the kids is a great idea. I’m in the class of 78 and we had a picnic in Tilden on the Sunday after our 30 year reunion. Lots of folks came with kids, and we all had some time to socialize during the daylight hours

I’ve been at every reunion that our BHS Class of 1974 committee has diligently and successfully put together, along with many of you. Our 35th Class Reunion will be no exception. I’d like to admonish each alumni to consider attending our 35th with a purpose in mind – honoring our many classmates and friends who are no longer with us, remember the good times we shared and experienced during our precious high school years, and celebrate life.

There was always something unique and cohesive about the Class of 1974. As young adults on the verge of graduating, abruptly and with no time to prepare, we lost two of our brightest and dearest classmates – Greg and Wendy. I’ve always believed their spirits were in the midst and possibly the reason that our class connections and friendships have endured over these many years.

Well I’ve secured my hotel reservation and intend to be on the scene at our 35th Class Reunion. Hopefully you will too and especially if it’s your first reunion. What an ideal weekend to gather in remembrance, socialize with one another, celebrate life, share our accomplishments, and embrace change. Until then…
